Movavi LICENSE TYPES: PERSONAL, BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL

Movavi offers several license types for different needs. This article explains the main options and helps you choose the right license for your use case.

Personal license

One user
The license is issued for a single user.

One device at a time
By default, a Personal License allows one activation on one device at a time. If you need to move the program to another computer, you can contact Support to transfer the license to a new device.

Non-commercial use
Suitable for personal projects, hobbies, and home use.

Monetized YouTube videos
Allowed, provided that you credit Movavi and include a link to Movavi.com, in accordance with the license terms.

Business license

A Business License is designed for commercial and professional use.

Commercial use allowed
For activities related to financial gain, such as marketing, advertising, client work, or content creation for a company.

One user, one device at a time
The license is intended for use by one employee on one device.
If you need to use Movavi on multiple devices at the same time or share it with other users, a separate license is required.

Company-specific
The license is issued to a company or organization and cannot be transferred to private or personal use.
If the software is used as part of professional, paid, or business-related activities, a Business License is required, even if you are a sole proprietor or freelancer.

Key differences between personal and business licenses

Personal license

For individual, non-commercial use
Monetized YouTube content is allowed with proper credit

Business license

For commercial, corporate, or professional use
Required for content created as part of business activities or for profit

If you use Movavi as part of your job or for business-related purposes, a Business License is required.

Which license should I choose for YouTube?

Personal YouTube channel (including monetized videos)
Personal License (credit to Movavi is required)

Business or branded YouTube channel
Business License

If the channel represents a company, brand, or commercial activity, a Business License is required regardless of channel size.

Special license conditions

Educational license
Educational licenses are available for students, teachers, and educational institutions.

Educational use only

The software can be used for learning and teaching purposes.
Any commercial or business use is not permitted.

Agreement

Usage is governed by the Movavi Software End User License Agreement for educational licenses.

Nonprofit & governmental organizations

Special pricing

Available for nonprofit and governmental organizations.

Important notes

Movavi licenses are intended for one user and one computer by default.
Shared or family use is not included by default and requires a separate Shared Access service.
Activation limits are designed to allow reinstallation on the same device or transfer to another computer.
Activation limits do not allow simultaneous use on multiple devices.
