Movavi Templates: what they are and how they work

Movavi Video Templates is a multi-style library of customizable, pro-looking, modular templates for any kind of video.

Instead of creating a video from scratch, you can choose a Template, replace its content with your own videos, photos, and text, and customize the result.

What are Movavi Templates?

A Template is a ready-made video project with a pre-set structure, transitions, text design, and music.
You can use a Template as a starting point and customize it by:

adding your own videos and photos
replacing or editing text
changing color themes
reordering or removing Blocks – the ones each template consist of

Movavi Video Editor includes a selection of free Templates. To access the full collection of paid Templates and Blocks, you need a Movavi Templates subscription.

What are Blocks?

A Block is a ready-made section of a video, and every Template is built from Blocks. This gives you three ways to use them:

Start with a complete Template and customize it by moving Blocks around
Add individual Blocks to a project you're already working on
Build your video from scratch Block by Block

Templates and Blocks are both part of Movavi Templates subscription.

Movavi Templates and Movavi Effects

Movavi Templates and Movavi Effects are separate products.

Movavi Effects provides over 10,000 of creative assets such as transitions, titles, stickers, overlays, and other effects. Plus it includes 1,500+ music tracks for every mood.

Movavi Templates provides ready-made video projects for any kind of content and Blocks that you can customize.

Access to one product does not automatically provide access to the other. Some offers may include Movavi Video Editor, Movavi Effects, and Movavi Templates together.

Access to Movavi Templates

Purchasing or activating Movavi Video Editor does not automatically provide full access to all paid Templates and Blocks.

If your purchase includes Movavi Templates, you can use the paid Templates and Blocks included in the subscription while it remains active.

Movavi Templates can be purchased separately, as part of a bundle, or included with Movavi Unlimited. If you have an active Movavi Unlimited subscription, you do not need to purchase Movavi Templates separately.
You can check your purchase in your Movavi account. Open Effects → Movavi Templates to view your subscription, license period, activation key, and subscription management options.

What happens when a Templates subscription expires

When your Movavi Templates subscription expires, access to paid Templates and Blocks included in the subscription is no longer active.

Projects that contain paid Templates or Blocks may have export restrictions if the required content is no longer covered by an active subscription.

To regain access, you’ll need an active subscription that includes Movavi Templates.

Important notes

Free Templates included with Movavi Video Editor do not require a Movavi Templates subscription.
“Full Access” applies only to the product or set of products specified in the particular offer.
In case of conflict, the Movavi Software End User License Agreement (EULA) prevails.
