SHARED ACCESS: HOW IT WORKS
Shared Access is an optional subscription service that allows you to use a Personal Movavi license on multiple computers at the same time.

This article explains:
  • who Shared Access is for
  • how many computers it covers
  • when it should be used – and when it should not
What Shared Access is
Shared Access is designed for Personal licenses only.

With an active Shared Access subscription:
  • you can use one Personal license on up to 3 computers at the same time
  • no separate license keys are required for each device
  • all standard Personal license rules continue to apply
Important: device limit
At the moment:
  • Shared Access allows activation on up to 3 computers in total (one primary activation and two additional activations)

Note: the exact number of supported devices may vary depending on the product and offer.
Who Shared Access is for
Shared Access is useful if:
  • you want to use the same Personal license on several computers at the same time
  • you work on multiple devices (for example, a laptop and a desktop)
  • access is needed on several computers without purchasing separate licenses
When Shared Access is NOT required
You do not need Shared Access if:
  • you only want to move the software to another computer

In this case, contact Movavi Customer Service – the license can be transferred without purchasing Shared Access.
Business licenses and Shared Access
Shared Access is not available for Business licenses.

If you need to use Movavi on multiple computers for business or professional purposes:
  • you must purchase separate Business licenses for each device
  • volume discounts may apply depending on the number of licenses

Subscription terms
  • Shared Access is provided as a subscription
  • The subscription duration depends on the selected plan
  • Availability and pricing are available during checkout and in your Movavi account

If you do not need Shared Access, you can remove it from your cart before completing the purchase.

Important notes
  • Shared Access does not override license type restrictions
  • Unlimited sharing or public use is not allowed
  • Using the software outside license terms may result in license blocking
How Shared Access applies to multiple products and licenses
Here's how Shared Access works in different situations:

Shared Access and multiple products
If your account contains multiple Movavi products:
  • Shared Access is applied only to the specific product it was purchased for
  • It does not automatically extend to other products in the same account

Each product needs its own Shared Access subscription if you want to use it on multiple devices.

Shared Access and multiple licenses
If you purchase multiple licenses:
  • each license has its own base activation
  • you can use Shared Access only once per license

For example:
  • License A + Shared Access → extended device limit
  • License B (without Shared Access) → standard device limit

Shared Access purchased for one license does not affect other licenses.

One Shared Access per license
  • You can add only one Shared Access subscription to a single license.
  • Adding multiple Shared Access subscriptions to the same license won’t increase the device limit.
When to contact Movavi Customer Service
Contact Movavi Customer Service if:
  • your license becomes blocked after exceeding the activation limit
  • you want to purchase Shared Access in addition to your existing licenses

  • the email address used for purchase
  • your license type (Personal or Business)
