Can’t add an audio file
If you are unable to add an audio file to your project in Movavi – Video Editor for iOS, it is usually due to how iOS handles audio files and copyright protection.

If you have audio files stored in the Files app (e.g., MP3, M4A, WAV), you can import them directly into your project.
Recordings made with the built-in Voice memos app can also be added.
The following audio sources will not work in Movavi – Video Editor for iOS:
This is not a limitation of Movavi – Video Editor, but a restriction enforced by iOS to prevent copyright infringement. Apps on iOS can only access audio files that the system marks as available for sharing.
If you cannot add an audio file:
For music from iTunes, ensure the track is bought (not from Apple Music catalog). Purchased tracks have a download icon and can be used in videos.
If you have audio files on your computer, you can transfer them to your iPhone/iPad via iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or USB, then import them from the Files app.
Consider using royalty-free music from services that provide downloadable MP3 files without copyright restrictions.

  1. Verify the file is downloaded: make sure the track is saved to your device, not just available for streaming.
  2. Check the source: if the music is from Apple Music, check if it was purchased or is part of a subscription. Only purchased tracks can be used.
  3. Try a different file: test with a standard MP3 stored in the Files app to confirm the import feature works.
