Charged instead of a free trial
If you were charged right after starting a free trial of Movavi – Video Editor for iOS, it may mean that the trial was not available for your account.
The free trial subscription is available only for users who have never used a trial for:
Purchases made through the Apple App Store do not appear in your Movavi account at movavi.id. All subscription management and purchase history must be checked directly through Apple.
You already used the trial before
Once a trial is used for an app, it cannot be reactivated. This applies even if:
If you used a trial for Movavi Clips, the older version of the app, Movavi App does not offer another free trial.
The trial period is not available in your region
In some cases, trial availability may vary by region or store.
Check your Apple purchase history:
4. Tap Purchase History to find the charge.
This will show you when the charge was made and confirm whether it was processed immediately after sign-up.
To prevent renewal at the end of the current billing period, cancel the subscription through your Apple ID:
If you have used a trial for either app in the past, the system will not activate another free trial, and the subscription will start immediately with a charge.

  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top.
  3. Tap Media & Purchases → View Account (you may need to sign in)

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled exclusively by Apple.
To request a refund:
Refund decisions are made by Apple in accordance with their policies. Movavi cannot process refunds for App Store purchases.
