Videos appear green and purple
If your videos appear green and purple when you add them to Movavi Clips or after saving them, this usually indicates a compatibility issue between the app and the video codec on your device.

This issue is most common on Samsung devices but can occasionally occur on other Android phones like Google Pixel. It happens because some video files use encoding that is not fully compatible with certain devices.
The video files themselves are fine. The issue is related to how your system displays them in the app.
The issue can be resolved by converting the video to a different format. Converting changes the video codec to one that works properly with Movavi Clips.
Sending videos through certain messengers automatically converts them to a compatible format:
This method works because these messengers automatically change the video codec during transfer.
You can convert the video using a third-party converter:
You can also use other video converter apps or services you prefer.
After conversion, the video should appear normal in Movavi Clips without the green and purple colors. The original video file remains unchanged on your device.
Option 1: Send videos via messengers
Option 2: Use a video converter
