How to enable NVIDIA hardware acceleration
When to contact Movavi Customer Service
If NVIDIA acceleration isn’t available or doesn’t work as expected, the cause is usually related to your graphics driver, GPU compatibility, or program version.
NVIDIA provides hardware encoding through NVENC, which is available on supported NVIDIA graphics cards.
Hardware acceleration depends on:
Older encoding technologies are no longer supported in current Movavi products.
If NVIDIA acceleration does not appear in the program settings:
If the option does not appear, your GPU or driver may not support NVENC.
Contact Movavi Customer Service if:
Movavi programs support NVIDIA hardware acceleration (NVENC) for video encoding on compatible graphics cards.
- your NVIDIA GPU model
- your installed driver version
- the Movavi program version
- Make sure your graphics card supports NVENC.
- Install the latest available NVIDIA driver from the official NVIDIA website.
- Restart your computer.
- Open the program and check the Acceleration settings again.
- Open the Movavi program
- Go to Settings → Preferences → Acceleration
- Enable NVIDIA hardware acceleration (if available)
- Apply the changes
- Restart the program
- Installing outdated drivers is not recommended.
- Not all NVIDIA graphics cards support hardware encoding.
- Some laptop systems may require manual GPU selection in Windows graphics settings.
- If acceleration causes instability, disable it and test again.
- NVIDIA acceleration does not appear despite using a supported GPU
- the program crashes when acceleration is enabled
- export fails only when NVIDIA acceleration is active
