Follow the steps below to check where the desync occurs and how to resolve it.
Before changing any settings:

If the desync appears in the program preview before conversion, the issue may be related to:
If the converted file is out of sync in one player but not in others, the issue may be related to playback compatibility rather than conversion.
Test the file in a different media player to confirm.

Case 2: The original file is already out of sync in preview

- Play the converted file in another media player (for example, VLC).
- Check whether the original file is in sync in the program preview.
- Open the program settings.
- Go to Preferences → Acceleration.
- Disable Intel, NVIDIA, or other hardware acceleration options (if enabled).
- Restart the program.
- Convert the file again and check synchronization.
- Open the output format settings.
- Click the Settings (cogwheel) button.
- Select different video and audio codecs. For example .mp4, set Video Codec to MPEG-4, and Audio Codec to MP3, or AAC.
- Apply the changes.
- Convert the file again and check sync in the new output file.
- Proceed to Step 2 straight away.
